Crafts and me DT card

Today was my turn to show a creation on the Crafts and Me Blog and here it is.

I have used one of the Crafts and Me Art Deco stamps.This one is called Art deco Couple, it,s out of stock at the moment but it,s available HERE on the Art Deco Sheet #1 which is a set of four of the Art Deco stamps,so if you,ve not got any of the Art deco ones yet this is a great buy as you will receive four stamps for the price of three.

I love the White on White cards they look so fresh and beautiful.

WOW we had 503 entries for the Crafts and Me Bumper Christmas challenge,the challenge was a month long and there was some fabulous prizes.The challenge ended yesterday so watch out on the blog for the annoucement of the winners. No pattened papers!!!!

Good evening,I do hope you are all well.
Well i,ve had quite a bad start to the new year.
Last week our fence came down and now we have to replace 4 posts as all snapped,the panels are ok though as we had the feathered kind and they,re quite strong.

Then this saturday night my Daughters/boyfriends brother was attacked and mugged and left with a fractured skull,he had Ct scans done and thank god he is going to be alright.

Then yesterday my sisters dog died, shes so upset,Muffin she called him a 5yr old Shitzuh/pom cross.His kidneys had failed and an autopsy today revealed that it was samonella poisoning, my sister thinks it could be from him drinking water that had overflowed from a water tank in her garden, So now she is fencing it off as she also has a westie and doesn,t want the same to happen to him.

On a happier note my son and DIL took my grandaughter Erin for her 1st session at the swimming pool and really enjoyed it.(so did mum and Dad) I have some pics to show you of her and will post these next week when i have more spare time.

Well i did manage to get a couple of cards done this one i have done for a few challenges and the other (which i will post tomorrow) is my DT card for The new Crafty Catz challenge.

I have used Penelope and Posey a cute digi from Saturated Canary.
Coloured with Promarkers,for the Sky and grass i used chalks which i applied with a cotton pad.
Papers None as this was mainly made for the saturated canary challenge #8 Clean and simple.
other stamps used are both rubber stamps the trees were made with an willow tree stamp from Hobbyart.and the flowers were part of a background stamp from Make it Crafty.
The fence is a Memory Box die.

It,s friday whoo hoo and i,ve got the weekend off i plan to get some crafting in as i will be very busy at work next week and wont have much spare time.
My darling hubby bought me a new laptop for christmas and theres lots of data to tranfer from my old one which takes a bit of time too.

Pretty Pendants/Crafts and Me

My card for today is one to go in the sample books that our lovely Tracy makes for Teresa to take to the Stamperama shows( I think the next ones in February)These have to be as flat as possible so the embellies are minimal.

I have used Heaven and Earths Pretty Pendants available Here at the Crafts and Me Store.
I decided to give her some wings, I used a Marieanne Designs Decorative Elegance Die (Unfortunately these are out of stock at the moment but you can opt for an email from Teresa when they are available). To make the Wings i cut two pieces then cut off the curlyends which i didn,t need and used these around the sentiment so no waste, i hate throwing anything away lol!!

Good morning, i hope you are all well and have been enjoying all this fab warm weather.
I,m so enjoying my grandmother (nanny) status i am so smitten with my little grandaughter i love her to bits.It,s such a wonderful feeling, i was told this but thought peeps were just exagerating but no it,s true.ok now i shant go on so onto my card lol!!!!
It,s my day to post on the crafts and me blog and i put 3 cards on the Crafts and me post 2 of which i have already posted on here but not this one.I used one of the New Heaven and Earth rubber stamps called Going Out i really enjoyed coloring her and used two my favourite colours.

Crafty Ribbons #3 Halloween

It,s time for a new CRAFTY RIBBONS challenge the 2 weeks have flown by we are now on challenge #3 already.
My fab DT member Leslie-Rahye is hosting this one and she wants to see BOO-tiful Halloween Projects--Pretty Spooky" [not just limited to cards]
The prize you ask? well it has to be Halloween Ribbons see the pic below!!!!

For my project i decided to make some Trick or Treat bags,i bought plain paper bags wrapped ribbon around the handles and stamped a Spider and web on one and Randomly stamped Pumpkins on the other then added various Halloween ribbons ALL available at CRAFTY RIBBONS

I coloured the images with Promarkers.
Stamps-Spider and web from creative expressions Jitterbug stamp set and not sure where i got the pumpkin stamp from sorry. I Added a bit of Stardust stickles to the web and pumpkins eyes.

Hello everyone, i havent entered many challenges lately because my excuse......... my lifes been rather busy what with a new precious grandaughter.I must tell you i,ve been asked to look after her for an afternoon (thats if mummy doesn,t change her mind bless her) as they need to go clothes shopping i think mummy needs a pick me up.I asked if i could have a practice changing her nappy as not done so for well years lol!! It all came back to me quite easily.I,m sooo looking forward to it and having plenty of cuddles but on the other hand a bit nervous.

And my other fab news i had my second sons wedding, which was a fantastic day, they,ve just returned from the Maldives lucky them!!!!!

So now onto my card for this i have used one of the new Jasmine rubber stamps called Belle of Bon Adventure available HERE She was a dream to colour.

Hello everyone,i,m back from my hols have been since sunday and got lots of exciting news to share with you all, I,ve been a tad busy the last few days My precious 1st Grandchild arrived on monday 22nd whilst i was away Boo hoo, but i knew this was going to happen. She weighed in at a healthy 8lbs 4oz

Good morning,i am away on holiday this week so this post is sheduled.

Whoo hoo it,s friday and i,m off on a weeks holiday! again you say um i know i was away a couple of weeks ago but i have accumilated quite a few days holiday and if i dont take them i,ll lose them so we are off in our caravan again for a week.Only downside is my little grand daughter has yet to arrive the due date was yesterday.Looks like i may miss her arrival unless she goes 10days overdue.

Good evening everyone tonight i would like to how you a card i have made to enter one of the Make it Crafty,s 1st birthday celebration challenges.This catergory is Number 4 make a creation using only Make it Crafty Laser cut embellishments.
I have used swirls and corners i inked them with an ink pad to add colour then added Stickles glitter the colour is called Patina lovely shades of green.
The sentiment is a sweetpea stamp and the background paper Papermania Liquorice Sherbet collection.Other items used are Nesties, Pearls from Quixotic paperie and Cardstock from my stash.

My in-laws are coming to stay!!!!!!!!!!

OMG! my inlaws are coming to stay in a 3 weeks time Hubby got a phone call tonight asking us if it would be ok???? they live in Cork Ireland they have been saying for the last 4 years that they would come an visit.We are off on a weeks holiday on the 31st July so it,s the week we are back thay are due to be here.I,ve been meaning to freshen up the paintwork in the bathroom and our downstairs loo, i,ve had the paint for ages and some lovely wallpaper for one wall in the loo now i,m all in a tiswas lol!!!!! And it,s the week before my 1st Grandchild is due to be born and 3 weeks before my other sons wedding so it,s full steam ahead as they say.

Also I have quite a lot of DT sample cards to get done for The Crafts and me store as Teresa is going to Stamparama in August and the DT are making cards for a sample books again.They will be NEW stamps whoo hoo!!

Whoo Hoo New Rubber at Crafts and Me

Goodmorning,
How are you all fairing in this hot weather here in the uk i love the warm but it was rather close yesterday and it,s just not fair as i,m working full time this week,and will miss my afternoons free time.I,m hoping we have a bit more air today.
It,s a treat to sit in my craftroom when it,s like this as it,s like a little fridge so cool, when you leave the room it,s just like when you go on holiday to greece or somewhere like that and you get off the plane and the heat hits you.

Right now onto some brill news.
It was so exciting opening my DT parcel from Teresa the other day as in it was some yummy new rubber stamps all available now at the CRAFTS and ME Store and i couldn,t wait to ink them up i have finished a card using one to show you It,s just so gorgeous and great to colour.This ones from Artist Jasmine-Becket-Griffiths called Butterflies in my Hair, and what fabulous hair is this ringlets and all.

Crafty Catz #88 Add a Charm

Hello fellow crafters i hope you have been having a fab weekend so far.This post is rather late as i have had a poorly little dog, my Pomeranian Dylan wasn,t well all day yesterday it turned out to be a bit of colic and after i gave him a small amount of milk of Magnesia by this morning he slowly got back to normal which is full of energy and very playfull.

Sassy Studio Designs is a fresh new company. We have been designing and selling for a year now, and we have been kindly received into the community of digi stampers and crafters. I,m back and very lucky to be!!!!!!

Well I,m finally back from my holiday be it 2 days late, we had a great time but it ended with a bit of a scare!!!
We had packed up the awning etc all ready to go and as we drove towards the campsite barrier brendan(hubby) stepped on the brakes as the barrier has to be all the way up for the height of the caravan but OMG the brakes didn,t work,Brendan managed to steer the car away on to grass nearby luckily where no other caravans were.We had to call the AA out and they came 3 hours later by now it was obvious were we going to have to stay another night.The car was towed to a garage in the nearby village and they were going to look at it next morning on priority.It was ready about 2pm yesterday and cost £145 to fix. Apparently the break pipe had been done before and was a botched job the garage man wanted to know who did it but we dont know as only got the car in october and hadn,t had anything done with the brakes.
Scary thing is as we pondered later over what might have happened if we had got onto the main road there was a T junction too, and if we had been on the motorway well we may not have been alive to tell the tale, I think God must have been looking down on us.
So i have no cards to show you and i seem to have lost my mojo anyway i cant seem to get motivated tonight hopefully it will return soon.

I,m frustrated to say the least i havent been able to leave comments on blogger all week i,m not sure whats going.I got to write comments then went to post them and it came up as i was anonymous and i couldn,t add my name and now i cant even do that Doh!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon I do hope you are all well, what a horrible wet day it was here yesterday,i,m late posting this because i just couldn,t get a decent picture of the card i have to show you.
The weather was fab sunday but i spent most of the day with my son, his fiancee and my stepdaughter,we gave my mum bless her a Garden makeover she had a fall trying to trim a bush in her garden and being 75 with a hip replacement thats not a good thing to happen.She is ok thank god just a few bruises.and now her garden looks a treat.

Right onto my card .
I,ve used one of the fabulous NEW Sara Burrier Rubber stamps available only at the Crafts and me Store this ones called DAY DREAMER available HERE These stamps are fab quality and give a great crisp image and are brill t Foro colour.I have stamped on A4 Premier Quality Smooth White Card available HERE

Firstly i have not been able to comment on anyones blog for a few days as Blogger has been playing up i wasn,t even able to access some blogs and gave up,i know some others have had trouble too.I will try again over the weekend.

Thank goodness it,s Friday and my saturday off i,m hoping to get some crafting in sometime over the weekend.Tomorrow i,m going wedding outfit shopping with my Mum my son and his wife they are paying for her outfit as they did mine aren,t we lucky.

I know i should have posted this yesterday but i,ve had quite a weekend as my Son Matthew and his future wife Hannah came to visit They live 2hours away in Bristol.I had a joint pressie from all 3 of my children a Fab camcorder.They are getting married 3rd september and they took me shopping for an outfit i found a gorgeous dress and they paid for it how great is that cost £100 so i,m well chuffed.So Now i can video their Big day.
Also i can video my very 1st grandchild My grandaughter as my eldest son Daniel and his wife Joanne are expecting a little bundle of joy due 18th August(whilst i,m on my holiday!!!!!!) so hope she comes early.
